Citizens Bank Foundation Continues Support of HomeOwnership Center


BUFFALO – HomeFront, Inc., a not-for-profit community development corporation in the City of Buffalo, announced today that Citizens Bank will continue its support of the HomeOwnership Center with a pledge of $10,000 for 2010, underwritten by the Citizens Bank Foundation.

 

Citizens Bank has and continues to be at the forefront of corporate philanthropy in supporting the HomeOwnership Center’s education and counseling services provided to Western New York residents.  This year’s award brings Citizens Bank’s total support of the HomeOwnership Center over the past six years to $145,000, resulting in the provision of services to more than 5,000 students from across Western New York.

 

The HomeOwnership Center, a ‘one-stop-shop’ for education, counseling, and financial assistance programming, continues to deliver services unrivaled at any location in Western New York.   The HomeOwnership Center’s individual counseling sessions are complemented by group education seminars for both prospective homebuyers and current homeowners.

 

“The Center’s programming is focused on increasing sustainable homeownership rates in the neighborhoods which comprise our diverse region,” said HomeFront, Inc.’s Executive Director, Bryan Cacciotti. “Citizens Bank’s dedication and commitment to the Center has directly resulted in our ability to expand on and improve the education and counseling services we proudly offer to Western New York.”
